Bunnies have lots of babies.
Rabbits can have multiple litters each year, giving birth to up to nine babies, known as “kittens,” each time. In the wild, they’re born helpless in a shallow hole lined with grass and their mamma’s fur. Mother rabbits in the wild spend only a few moments each day with their babies in order to avoid drawing attention to them from predators. The babies grow quickly and continue to live together as a family.
Black cats are bad luck in the United States, but they are good luck in the United Kingdom and Australia. They may have a less-than-stellar reputation in some areas of the world, but there are plenty of places where black cats aren’t bad luck at all. If you’re a single lady in Japan, owning a black cat is said to increase your number of suitors; if you’re in Germany and one crosses your path from right to left, good things are on the horizon.
